Thanks very much to Ash from Guardian Avionics for our sponsorship arrangement. CO Guardian makes a great range of sensitive CO detectors and pulse oximeters from cigarette lighter mount to panel and remote mounted options with Bluetooth.
As an Air Force qualified Aviation Physiology Training Officer (APTO), I appreciate the insidious in-flight hazard that CO can represent, so I am very glad to have Ash and CO Guardian on board for that extra reassurance!
I plan to install a CO Guardian 455 system (CO detector and pulse oximeter) between the pilot and passenger so both can test PP02 and pulse at altitude. At the moment this requires a separate display, but soon, the data will be displayed via my Dynon Skyview D700 screens (a simple serial data feed).
