Tonight I finished a 25cm long Mk82, custom made as a perpetual trophy for the Air Force's "Best EOD Operator of the Year" .... EOD meaning Explosive Ordnance Disposal, or 'bomb disposal'.
Turning the 2" stainless bar to shape and polishing took about 15 hours, but I it worked out well. The Mk82 was ultimately mounted on a 2" thick redgum base with a dedication plate and shields.
