I noticed the battery cover center Camloc fastener was too close to the solenoid for comfort, so I turned the solenoid around, which provides for better cable routing anyway. I cut # 2 AWG CCA Fatwire and trial fitted the short earth lead and power lead to the master solenoid, then went about routing the main battery wire down the right fuselage side to the firewall.
Everything is just trial fitted at this stage (needs to be removed to fit the rudder cables and to add clipnuts for the baggage panels. I will also need to improve the grounding for the earth cable before finishing in this area.
My mate Tony Blair keeps me paranoid about things getting caught in the elevator belcrank, so I will be sure to safety tie all these things as a backup before I'm done.
