Aligned the gear leg sockets per the plans, marked, taped and drilled before priming and assembling.
This wasn't difficult, but my clamps wouldn't hold on the socket, so I marked the alignment very carefully and stretched packing tape lengthwise along the leg and socket to pull the two together.
I also spun the AN5 bolts in the lathe and used strip emery paper to remove the cadmium plating to avoid cadmium embrittlement of the titanium gear leg. The bolt will be greased on final assembly to inhibit corrosion.
