I was beaten by the complex measurements the day before, but finally got this bit right. I turned and threaded a pivot pin on the lathe and a mounting plate for the sensor and microswitch, which I then finish trimmed, alodined and test installed.
I need to trim the stainless bolt down slightly to clear the side panel. I'll also put a couple of rubber feet on the arm and abrasion protection on the fuselage to ensure there's no metal-to-metal contact.
