I made plastic half-template and trimmed it repeatedly until I had a rough shape to transfer to 0.032" sheet. Then I added a 0.025" stiffener to the underside and kept trimming until the shelf was just the right shape. Later I'll finish trim down to allow for a rubber bead around the edge, then drill the front edge for nutplates and fabricate a support bracket for the rear bulkhead.
