James and I started making a flange to connect the front of the crescent to the firewall as a doubler for the bootcowl. We fluted the front to match the profile of the upper firewall and extended the aft edge back under the front edge of the windscreen.
It soon became evident that I would prefer to make a new crescent than have a visible line in front of the windscreen ... up next.
