I wasn't impressed with the tail light adapter from Cleaveland, which is water cut and over-linished for a standard tail light shape, so I traced around my tail light and made a new one !! The adapter gets riveted to the rudder bottom fairing with six Avex rivets and the tail/strobe light is held on with two 4-40 CSK screws (easily removed for maintenance).
If I did this again, I'd make the fitting from thinner material and add nutserts to the top and bottom for an overall weight reduction.
