Upper baggage compartment door
Today I printed out the upper baggage compartment door and doubler drawings on the plotter and had them laminated. The laminating will make tracing the shapes onto sheet metal easier once I've cut the drawings out. I've left space at the top where the canopy track arcs down (which will need to be reinforced from behind) and I may mount the Dynon GPS antenna on the forward face of the door to avoid growing an antenna farm on the glare shield up front (there's nothing like white antennas reflecting off the windscreen to obscure the pilot's forward vision) !!
