Tonight I worked on the holes for the cowl pin fixtures, welded the cowl pins to the stainless plates and temporarily fitted the cowl around the engine for the first time. Next I'll mark how much to trim off the aft edge of the cowl, then remove the cowl and propeller to use the crankshaft alignment disk. Looks like everything will work OK, but there's a lot of work to go yet!
