I spent an hour considering how best to secure the cowl hinge pins at the front. I want this area to look good and I haven't found any photos of other installations taken from 'behind the cover plate'. The light bulb came on in the end and I look forward to fabricating some stainless tabs to TIG weld the piano hinge to ... I think it will look quite good.
