Tonight I added strips to the sides of the pedestal so I can flush mount sidewalls and trays for other components behind the panel. I then put started adding nutplates to the pedestal.
I also spent some time considering where to locate the TCW boxes (Safety Trim and Intelligent Flap Controller etc).
