Wing wiring
This evening I cut the wires for the taxi, landing, strobe, nav, position and wig wag looms to feed through to each wingtip. I used a 9-pin AMP connector (from SteinAir) for each loom, so that I had a few spare sockets in case I need to run anything else out to the wingtips. Once all the crimping, soldering and strain relief heatshrinking was done, I ran the loom through some snake skin shroud and applied heatshrink near the plug. I plan to use the AveoMaxx 6-in-1 lights (if they ever become available), which use seven wires (I think), however, the position light is redundant in my setup and will be recessed inside the fiberglass wingtip. Hence, I'll use the redundant sixth wire in place of the seventh and not power the white wingtip position lights at all.
