Tonight I primed the under-leaved skin edge then closed out the leading edge of the rudder. This wasn't as hard as expected, but it is practically impossible to relieve all the strain on the blind rivets - the skins have too much flex to avoid this entirely without risking creases. The edge roller worked well too.
I still need to ProSeal and double countersink rivet the trailing edge, as well as the top and bottom ribs, but I need to acquire some high density foam strip to insert in the trailing edge as a shock and vibration damper before I can do this. Everything is held straight as a die by the dimples, clecos and jig.
