Empennage fairing and dorsal fin
I marked the shape of the dorsal fin, then made a rod and sides to lay the fibreglass over later on. Keying the dorsal fin to the existing fairing is important given the potential side loads, so I taped off the leading edges, waxed, layed fibreglass around the VS and HS LEs, then installed the fairing with a good dose of epoxy and Aerosil. Once it hardened slightly, I scraped off the excess Aerosil from the VS, which I will build up slightly with more twill-weave glass as the dorsal fin is layed up.
