I bolted the HS back in place, then marked out the holes on the VS front spar ready for match drilling to the F-015 attach plate at the front. I clamped everything in place, measured two hundred times with the square, the spirit level, the tape measure and the Mk1 eyeball from all angles, then drilled one 3/32" hole for a cleco. I must have done something right, because the pre-moulded fairing fits perfectly ... yay !!
I don't like doing things the easy way, so I plan to install a dorsal fin as well (which I had already begun with a single layer of carbon moulded over the leading edge of the VS last year).
