I trimmed away the excess fibreglass from the composite tip, fabricated, Alodined, primed and installed doublers to the VS. I'll be mounting a bullet camera in the tip, so I reinforced the tip with carbon fibre and added another 0.032" shim between the skin and the doubler so the tip will lay flush.
