I spent most of the morning continuing to fix the small inclusions around the tube clusters. As it turns out, there were many small pin-holes that allowed the linseed oil to leak out, so this took a long time to fix.
I nearly lost my patience and decided not to bother with the linseed oil, but the leaks were going to stop the paint from adhering as well, so it just had to be done right!
After I finished welding, I heated all my welds in the 4130 chrome-moly to cherry red and allowed to air cool so that any stresses would be anealled away.
