Camshaft and prop governor gears
I lapped the edges of the camshaft lobes with an arkansas stone to remove all burrs that might score the tappet faces. I then cleaned the camshaft and primed with Molykote (molybdenum disulphide grease) to stop wear during first engine start (before oil has circulated). I then pre-oiled and assembled the propeller governor gears (taking care to install the front cap - which would allow the shaft to fall out and the gears to drop into the crankcase).
