Stripped the old flaky paint off the air induction tubes, rocker covers and intercylinder baffles with acetone; repainted with Tempo paint except for the intercylinder baffles. I'll separate those from their 4130 chrome-moly brackets for alumiprep and alodine when I have the rest of my riveting gear from Aircraft Tool Supply (so I can reassemble right away).
Installed new Lycoming induction tube bolts, replaced several oil return line nuts and polished the tubes with scotchbrite, replaced the rocker cover seals with silicone seals from Vans and removed lots of old and ineffective Proseal and Araldite oil seal around the crankcase halves. I need to replace all the exhaust and several other badly rusted studs.
