I kept on with the process of cleaning and pre-greasing parts like the camshaft with molybond grease or red-band mineral oil for long-term preservation and storage ahead of pre-oiling for initial start. Without any combustion by-products in the crankcase this should last well, as it has for the ten years since I first overhaled the engine for the Rocket.
