I removed the air filter box and cut the scoop in two along a line I marked before the layup. Then I sanded the two halves of the scoop again ready for thinned epoxy pin hole filler and priming!
It's tempting to get stuck into sanding the cowl again, but it needs to set hard first or the paper will clog up too easily.
