I filed the throttle cable slot vertically up to improve alignment with the upper lever hole. I then had to make a new stainless clamp to hold it in the right place. I may yet remove the bracket, cut out the intermediate plate and bend the two support plates further so the angles are improved a tad ... no need to induce accelerated wear in the cables at max shroud deflection.
