Inverted oil system return line standpipe
I needed to change over a handful of existing AN fittings to Speedflow fittings, which included making a new standpipe for the inverted oil return line. I bored out the fitting with a 16mm end mill, then turned a corresponding tube out of solid bar. I left the tube end rough for JB Weld to stick to and bonded it in place. I needed to remove the left exhaust stack, fuel servo and throttle cable bracket to provide room to thread the 90 degree elbow into the sump.
