Tonight I turned up a stainless steel outlet to run perpendicular to the flange because there is NO room for an elbow between the fuel pump and the firewall. This is a known issue with the RV-4 and Rockets and I have seen some pretty ordinary solutions.
I rotated the fitting so the hole was facing into the fuel pump and set the ends in JB Weld before adding a washer in the top and filling the threaded hole with more JB Weld. When it has set, I'll file off the excess and it will be ready for silicon tube.
