This time I managed to braze everything together without burning through .. woohoo!
Later I will add nutplates and shape a corresponding hole in the rear baffle. I will also sandwich some stainless gauze between the baffle and flange to stop things falling down into the heater shroud - where they would burn and stink out the cockpit.
