I finished machining the oil filler tube, Alumiprep'd and Alodined. I made a sealing flange above the lock collar for some 1.75" SCAT tube to contact. The SCAT will be fixed to a fiberglass bowl attached to the underside of the plenum, which will allow access to the dipstick through the cowl, but won't allow high-pressure air to escape the plenum. Now I need to make a new dipstick to suit, which I'll calibrate later.
