James and I decided to have some fun trying the infusion resin process, so we made a decorative red/black carbon fibre sheet on tempered glass. I have just the thing in mind for it later :-)
First we waxed the glass several times and buffed it to a shine, applied the decorative layer, three layers of 450 gsm12k 2/2 twill weave for rigidity, peel ply, infusion mesh, then bagging. I had to improvise the catch pot, but it all worked pretty well. Tomorrow we'll know just how well when we try to lift it off the glass.
