Today I received the really sad news that my friend Ron Graham had passed away, presumably from a heart attack.
He was a wonderful man, who selflessly offered the knowledge he gleaned from over 50 years as a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. He shared a wonderful passion for aviation and amateur aircraft building. I for one will miss him very, very much.
VH-XFI and VH-FLY were sister ships, arriving in the same shipping container in 2002. I am extremely grateful that Ron was able to finish and fly his dream in the past 18 months. The test period was complete and he was looking forward to retiring to a few more fly-away trips yet.
We will all miss you mate ... and thank you for helping me live my dream too.
