I carefully waxed mouled the starboard side to match the port side shape, then laid carbon over the top. This time I made it easier for myself by wedging a formed ally plate between the aft edges so they wouldn't stick, which made it easy to remove from the wax mould. Once I've done all the shaping and smoothing I'll pinch the aft edges, bond the inside with carbon and Aerosil then grind away all the excess on the outside to leave a thin radiused trailing edge. I wish I had done this on the other side ... it was so much easier!
