Well it doesn't look like much in the photos, but I spent all day drilling out attach holes to size #19 (for #8 screws and tinnerman washers), then match drilling, deburring and setting 18 nutplates in place. The port side took half as long as the staboard side with help from James, but I'll sleep well tonight after a 30km ride this morning and stretching all day in/around the fusleage! When that was done I trimmed the aft lip areas to allow the flaps to raise and lower (almost fell asleep on the creeper while laying down) and tomorrow I'll trim the underside to final shape and install nutplates to hold that area to the belly skin. It was a big day, but a good day :-)
