I taped up the intersection and spent the next five hours getting the shape just as I wanted. I scraped away the edge to leave a 2mm lip so the flange could be made thick without affecting the lay up of the fairing itself. Tomorrow I'll cut out a section for the nutplate tab and lay up the carbon.
