With the reinforcement cured, I assembled the halves over the wheel assembly to mark trim lines evenly spaced around the perimeter (allowing for substantial deflation of the tyre without damaging the pant) then coarse trimmed with snips. While I was at it I drilled the camloc inspection door for inflation valve access. Later I'll mark the tyres to assist lining this up as the aircraft is rolled.
