I installed the carbon bracket on the port side to check the wheel pant alignment and clearance. The deliberate offset to encompass the Grove disc brakes is obvious in the photos and the slight pull-in by the bolt is to be expected without the rear half sandwiched inside the front half. I'm pretty happy with the result, except for the height, which should leave a 1" gap above the tyre. There is sufficient internal tyre clearance now, but with the tail down the aft lower section of the wheel pants would be perilously close to the ground where a pot hole or transition from pavement to soft grass is likely to cause scratches or cracking. Best to get them right now, before I match the intersection fairings to the wheel pants, so tomorrow I'll reposition the moulds and lay up a better fitting pair of brackets.
