I started today by hoisting the whole aircraft up, removing the wheels and axles and swapping the left and right wheel spat brackets over to their correct sides so the long arm is uppermost ... a mistake I made in Canberra. Now they look like everything will fit ... it was doing my head in for a little while! Later I'll remove the wheels again, lockwire the axle bolts and regrease the bearings since they were first greased 14 years ago when I started this project ... sigh.
