I brazed the three duct components with low-melt ally rod, ground and smoothed then trial installed. Everything was aligned as it should be, so I die ground the baseplate hole to match the tube and then the tube sidewall to match the stem. Once that was done I made a stainless axle and ally butterfly valve, then sandblasted, Alodined, and applied a coat of 2K epoxy primer to fill some pinholes and uneven fillets on the splitter. When that sets I'll sand it all smooth and spray on a final coat of primer, rivet the nutplates on and set about making and TIG-welding the actuator lever at the best angle.
