Tonight James and I planned out some more firewall pentration points for the thermocouples, P-leads, cabin heat control cable and other wires. Then we removed the engine, drilled off the hot air gate valve (I knew there was a reason why I had only cleco'd that on before!) and made a matching bottom plate for the hot air splitter to attach on the underside. Tomorrow we'll weld the tubes in place and make the butterfly control valve to split hot air off to windshield defrost.
