I was never quite happy with the initial cooling ducts intakes, so I drilled and die ground the old ones off, machined a new die and re-layed the starboard side using carbon braided sleeve instead. I added a couple of layers of 2/2 twill weave over the duct and pressed lower side down with bamboo sticks until the resin sets, which will reduce the visible depression under the leading edge(which formed over time without the composite tips screwed to the wings).
