I needed to slightly widen the attach flange area again (for greater hole edge distance), so I decided to add support for that before applying the final fillet layup. First I put down a strip of aluminium tape, folded it back on itself for added rigidity, filled the recess with VE resin and Aerosil, then put down a strip of carbon fibre for support when I later scuff and sand the flange in preparation for the final layers. I'll remove the ally tape in the morning before the layup has fully hardened.
