I pulled the composite tip down into the leading edge with a framing strap, measured and marked, trimmed and re-measured, partially drilled, re-measured, retrimmed then drilled the remaining holes. The firbreglass was pretty cantankerous after years of sitting unsupported, but in the end I got it to match the aileron perfectly after a slight rasping of the trailing edge. I couldn't be happier with the result.
