First I fitted the port aileron, then James and I marked, measured, adjusted, measured and drilled the port flap hinge. Once again the temporary holes to hold the flap brace for transport were spaced correctly, but the up/down relationship between the bottom skin and the flap brace would be way too high if I used these holes. That would cause the upper flap skin to push the upper wing skin up, leaving an unsightly droop down where the upper skin transitions to the aileron area ... very noticeable with shiny ally or gloss paint !
