Once the 2K primer flashed off, I bedded the scoop in a bead of JB Weld and back-riveted with soft rivets and ally washers, then topped off the rivets with some more JB Weld to be sure the scoop stays put ... there's no going back once the skin is riveted in place. While I was at it, I seated the stainless gauze in place with the left over JB Weld.
