I fabricated, match-drilled and installed the nutplate doubler to hold the HS in place.
It's hard to believe that four AN3 nutplates can support the leading edge loads but, the loads are a lot less than those at the trailing edge where the control surfaces hinge. Nutplates are also rated for the full 125,000 PSI each in tension, so I think they''ll be just fine (as does the OEM, who is also happy with my tubular spar tie-in mod).
