Once the four front holes were drilled to #30 then upsized to #12, I trimmed off the excess from the 011 brackets and tidied up ready for the VS. I used oil cooler bolts for alignment, but the plans call for short bolts along the lower bracket. I might yet use a combination of short bolts at the outer points and long bolts with wide-flanged tubular spacers between the lower and upper front spars. Later I'll add nutplates under the front support bracket, but I need to make another doubler to attach them ... lest there be more holes in the longerons and cross bracket.
