I wanted exactly the right edge distance for the side bolts, which are close to the edge, given that the longeron is only 3/4" wide and drilled for an AN3 bolt. I decided to fabricate a rigid steel C-strap duplicator that would allow me to drill the longeron first. I turned a small stainless alignment pin for match drilling and it worked a treat!
... even though I was out of Argon and had to TIG the jig with Argoshield instead, which the tungsten didn't appreciate one little bit !!
