Brief Description: Drilled Engine Attach holes through firewall.
In preparation for putting the fuselage on engine stand-based rotisserie, I drilled the four 3/8" holes through the firewall into the engine attach weldments. The upper two holes went relatively smooth. For the lower two, You have to temporarily attach the nose gear and drill through the nose gear weldment, firewall, and engine attach weldment. The first hole went smoothly, but the with the second hole, I overheated both weldments and hardened them. Ended up filing the holes to final size one I got them drilled within about 1/16" for the desired sizer.
