Started installing the attic stairs, with assistance from a motorcycling friend and neighbor. Cut the hole in the sheetrock and joists of the garage ceiling, and installed the double headers on the end. Tried to lift the stair set up to the ceiling, but the 11' height proved to be too much of a challenge for one day without additional help from some type of mechanical leverage. Left everything staged underneath the hole in the ceiling about 6 feet high, and will try again next weekend.
