I dropped by the Cleaveland Aircraft Tools booth today at Oshkosh and placed an order for the Complete RV Builders Tool Kit. Mike Lauritsen was very helpful in customizing the order to add some additional tools that I wanted and delete others that I already owned or wanted to replace with alternative tools from other sources. The custom changes that I made to the standard RV Builders Tool Kit were: (1) Added the RV-10 upgrade (more Wedge-Loc fasteners & special bucking bar for RV-10 empennage). (2) Replaced the Main Squeeze hand riveter (great tool) with the pneumatic squeezer kit (even better). (3) Upgraded to the Cleaveland 3X rivet gun with rubber grip. (4) Upgraded to the Klenk offset snips. (5) Added the Quick Change Tooling Kit, Milbar 9" reversable US safety wire twister, .032 safety wire 1-lb can, Airwolf oil filter cutter, ratcheting terminal crimper, 3M wire marking tape, automatic wire stripper, 6" 3M light deburring wheel, Screw Checker, 4-port aluminum manifold, 3 mini air hose couplers, and 2 more lightweight airhose kits. (6) Deleted the C-Frame Riveting Tool (to be replaced with the ExperimentalAero DRDT-2 C-Frame Riveter). (7) Deleted the 1/4"-3/4" Unibit, weighted tape dispenser, Sharpie permanent markers, and air tool oil (all of which I already own). Total quote, including AirVenture discount and shipping: $2,699.35.
