After riveting the skin, I finished riveting the rear spar caps to the rear spar below the skin. The last two rivets installed were on the rear spar just below the bottom rudder hinge brackets. Because of the specific location of those two rivets, I could not set them with my pneumatic squeezer without modifying the 3" yoke. So I ground away some material from the tip of the yoke to allow the AN470-AD3 head to properly seat on top of the rivet. This took a little time, but eventually solved the problem. The vertical stabilizer is now complete. Total logged construction time on the empennage so far, from ordering the kit to completion of the vertical stabilizer = 103 hours over a span of 59 calendar days.
