After match-drilling the holes with a #40 reamer, I spent some time with a soldering iron removing 1" strips around all of the rivet lines in preparation for deburring and dimpling. Then I removed the skin, and spent the rest of the evening deburring the skin and the skeleton and removing the inevitable scratches that occurred during the assembly process. Tedious work, and it killed a lot of time, but it is was nevertheless necessary.
